There must be a reason I’m still here

 

 

I feel like I’ve been in a spiritual battle over my health for my entire life. Now at 63, I’m fitter and healthier than I’ve ever been. This comes at a time when the whole world is in the grip of Big Pharma. There must be a reason God has preserved my life and health all these years. I’m just not sure what it is.

Here’s a very brief account of my story.

I was born into death. My mother had lost both parents and a still-born child in the year before I was born. My parents were told I might not live. I was given a blood-change transfusion the day after I was born due to rhesus incompatibility. However, my blood group is O negative. A blood-change transfusion on a newborn was an innovative procedure in 1959. I went into shock during the operation and they had to abort.

I became a very sickly, fragile, shy, and fretful child. I remained frail and weak as I grew into adulthood. At this point, I believed what I was brought up to believe — good and bad health was just a question of luck and our only recourse was to visit an MD for drugs and/or surgery.

At the age of 23, I had a little boy, Timmy, by emergency caesarean. He was severely handicapped and died just before his tenth birthday. Those ten years were traumatic and left me exhausted. At one point, I tried to commit suicide through an overdose. I should have died right there and then, but the Lord had other plans.

In 1992, I discovered I was gluten intolerant. Changing my diet gave me a new but temporary lease of life. I functioned a little better over the next few years.

Then on 8^th November 2009, my view of the world was turned upside down. Somebody asked me why Timmy had been born handicapped. I gave the answer the doctors had given me — we just drew the short straw. But the question prompted me to remember the injection of aminophylline I was given two weeks before the pregnancy went wrong. I searched the internet and found lawsuits against the manufacturers for causing brain damage in neonates.

Why had no doctor ever told me that aminophylline could have caused my son’s handicap? I spent the next few years researching the natural and spiritual roots of modern medicine. I also started discovering the power of natural medicine and to realise that all alternatives to drugs and surgery had been suppressed.

Then in 2012, my health crashed. I had never been physically agile, but now I got to the point I could barely walk. I was bent over to the left and couldn’t straighten up. I was in pain 24/7 and wanted to die. I was 53 and didn’t expect to make it to 60.

I went back to my Bible. I’d been a Christian for 36 years, but I realised I didn’t understand what the Bible said about health. I saw how our health is a spiritual battle ground. I listened to Derek Prince and learned how to cast out demons.

Then the first of two health ‘miracles’ happened. I got on a diet and nutrition programme (through Youngevity) and within six months I was standing straight, I was substantially out of pain, and I was walking a bit better.

I made steady progress over the next few years. During this time, my health journey seemed personal to me. But then 2020 arrived, and suddenly all the issues I’d been grappling with for the last few years became relevant to the entire world.

We were told there was a deadly virus out there, and the only thing we could do was to hide in our houses until science became our saviour and produced a wonderful new kind of vaccine.

At the time, I was living in South Korea where I had been for over 20 years. For the first few weeks, I took the threat seriously. I even bought N95 masks. But soon I started checking the UK government’s pronouncements against their own statistics. The two didn’t match at all. There was an agenda here, and it wasn’t just about health.

I had already become very sceptical and cautious about vaccines. The idea of injecting the whole world with an untested, experimental, gene-modifying technology horrified me, and it didn’t take much research to find out my reservations were valid.

Then in August 2020, I returned to the UK after 20 years in Korea. What a shock! Not only was I isolated by reverse culture shock and the Covid restrictions, but I was the only person around who hadn’t lived through the first lockdown. I soon found I had a totally different understanding of the ‘plandemic’ than those around me. And it seemed to me (and I apologise if any of my new friends in the UK ever read this) that everybody had forgotten how to think. I could quote chapter and verse on the relevant science, but the only response I got was, “Well, I’m getting the vaccine anyway.”

At this point, I had a dream:

I was waiting to get on a boat with a crowd of other people. There was a building between us and the sea. I was one of the first people to be called forward to board the boat. I walked around the building using my walking stick. When I saw the sea, I noticed several waves rising up and falling away (about five of them). However, these were not natural waves. They had different coloured panels on them in oranges and blues. They also rose and fell suddenly in a very unnatural way. There was no build up or natural decline. When I got around the building, I saw a passenger who had been called ahead of me being shot in the head with a gun. I hurried back around the building (BTW I couldn’t run in 2020. I can now.) and told all the waiting passengers that it was a trap and to run. They believed me and ran.

When I woke up, I tried to make sense of the dream. The waves seemed obvious to me. It was clear from the data that the so-called ‘waves’ of Covid were not totally natural. I assumed the shot to the head was the injection, but at the time I thought the representation was a bit over dramatic. (I don’t think that now. I think it was a very appropriate illustration.) I asked the Lord why I had had that dream. He said that I needed to know that people would listen to me about the injections. (Though actually, the majority of people have not listened to me yet.)

During my first few months in the UK, I desperately tried to warn everybody who would listen about the injections and I was in torment at the level of deception around me. At first, I felt a responsibility because I thought if I don’t tell people, they’re not going to know. But then the truth became evident to anybody who was willing to look. On the first day of the injection roll out in the UK, two nurses collapsed with anaphylactic shock. Then the death rate in ‘care homes’ shot up just after the introduction of the injections. Then athletes started collapsing on the field. Then we started hearing stories of strange aggressive cancers coming from nowhere. Now we’re hearing of relatively young people dropping dead for no apparent reason (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome!). Recently, even the BBC has had to report that the rate of emergency ambulance call outs is at an all time high, and we currently have about 1,000 excess deaths a week in the UK compared to the 5-year average (and they’re not Covid deaths).

At this point, the truth is there for anybody with eyes to see.

To finish my health story and bring it up-to-date, in February 2022 I was introduced to stem cell activation patches and my second health ‘miracle’ occurred. Within three days of starting them, I could run for the first time in 12 years. Within three weeks, I could work out for the first time in my life.

Here I am at 63. My whole life has been about battling health issues, and by the grace of God, I’ve come out victorious. I’m not only alive against all the odds, but I’m running, working out, and dancing.

So, what does the Lord want me to do now? I have a unique life experience. I have my own understanding of the spiritual and physical causes of disease and how to be healthy. I’m living in a time when the whole world is in the grip of Pharmakeia. What do I do with my experience and knowledge?

Dear Lord, please show me.

Healing Minerals in the Bible

After the transformation I went through 10 years ago through diet and supplementation (especially minerals), I took a look at what the Bible says about healing minerals. Here's what I found.

 

 

Weaning myself off my walking stick

 

I just walked into the town centre and back. It was a momentous occasion, not because of where I went but because I left my walking stick at home.

 

I've walked into town before carrying the stick rather than using it, but this is the first time I've actually left it behind. After all these years, it felt like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute.

 

I actually had a problem in W. H. Smith's. I lost my balance and had to grab onto a shelf. It was scary, but I'm sure it only happened because I've become so dependent on the stick that I don't hold myself correctly.

 

By the time I got back, I was more tired than normal. I clearly use my body in a different, more correct way when I don't use the stick. I'm going to have to wean myself off it and retrain myself to walk more normally.

 

That's a challenge, but then I remember 10 years ago when I could only walk by using my arms to swing my left leg forward, landing flat on my left foot. My chiropractor at the time told me not to forget how to walk normally. I told him I knew my body hadn't forgotten because I could run in my dreams. He also told me to practise going down on the heel and up on the toe. I practised and practised but couldn't do it. Then 4 months after getting on Youngevity, I was walking down the street one day and realised I was doing it automatically.

So, now I'm at the next stage in relearning how to walk with a completely normal gait.

When I watched this, I laughed and then I cried. 

I couldn't believe it was me I was watching. 

Ten years ago I could barely walk. Now I can bounce. I can't begin to comprehend the healing that has taken place in my legs, ankles, and feet to allow me to do this. 

It would be my privilege to walk with you through your journey with the patches.

 

My health got off to a bad start when I was given a botched blood-change transfusion the day after I was born in 1959. My health deteriorated until, by the age of 53, I didn’t expect to have many days left on this earth.

Then I went back to my Bible, I prayed, and I turned to natural healing modalities. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Since then, I’ve had no greater pleasure than in telling others what I have learned about prayer and diet and nutrition and in seeing them recover their health.

Now at 63, the Lord has shown me a new way to help people with their health. I could never have foreseen this. But now I have the honour and privilege of sharing these wonderful light therapy technology patches with other people and walking with them through their journey back to health.

To me this is much more than a business, it’s a ministry. And it would be my pleasure to walk with you as you experience this technology for yourself.

Use what God has made available to you for your health

 

 

This morning I listened to 2 Kings 4 and 5.

In chapter 4, we have the woman facing poverty who has nothing but a pot of oil in her house. Elisha multiplies the oil to meet her financial needs.

In chapter 5, we have Naaman the leper. Elisha tells him to go wash in the River Jordan seven times. Naaman is offended. He’s from Syria and says the rivers of his own country are better than the Jordan. Eventually, he does as Elisha says and gets healed. Why did Elisha insist on the River Jordan? Because it was close by? Because it was particularly rich in minerals?

When it comes to our health, I believe God wants us to use the resources he has made available to us. This might include pharmaceuticals. But it also includes good food, clean water, fresh air, exercise, nutritional supplements, and other natural healing resources.

Only the Lord can make health pronouncements over your life

 

I always listen to the Bible while I’m making my breakfast. This morning I listened to 2 Kings 1. When Ahaziah was sick, He didn’t ask God if he would live, he asked Baalzebub. As a result of enquiring of the wrong god, he died.

Doctors are smart people, but they’re not God. They cannot make pronouncements over you about your health.

Decades ago, a consultant at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London told me the loss of sight in my right eye was permanent and nothing could be done. (I was down to maybe 20% vision in that eye.) But he was trained in drugs and surgery. He didn’t understand the dangers of mercury amalgam fillings or the power of nutrition. After having 13 mercury amalgam fillings removed and taking all 90 essential nutrients, the vision in that eye is now maybe 90%.

Ten years ago, if I had listened to the general consensus of medical opinion, I would have lain down and died. AND LOOK AT ME NOW – running, working out, and dancing.

Make sure that only the Lord Jesus Christ, the one true healer, makes pronouncements over your health.

 

2 Kings 1:16-17a

And he said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elijah had spoken. 

You’re sick. You pray. Great! But is praying enough?

 

 

This blog is called Given Her to Eat. It comes from Mark 5:23

Mark 5:41-43  And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

Jesus had just performed a wonderful miracle by raising a 12-year-old girl from the dead, showing that he was indeed the Son of God, our Healer. What an event! The people were astonished with a great astonishment, as they should be. Then this amazing supernatural story is brought right down to earth at the end of the chapter when we are told that Jesus commanded the parents to give the child some food. Why does the Bible record this? Jesus had just given life to a corpse. You can’t get more miraculous than that. He could have chosen to fill her body up with nutrition at the same time. But he chose a natural means of meeting her nutritional needs – food.

Just a thought. Could it be that God prefers natural means to support health over supernatural means when the natural means are available?

Certainly, it’s very clear in the Bible that God is very concerned about what we eat and the nutritional value of our food. In Leviticus 11, God gives a very specific list of food restrictions. He also told the children of Israel to give the land a sabbath of rest every seven years to replenish the soil. (Leviticus 25)

There are other occasions in the Bible when the Lord chooses a natural form of healing over a supernatural one. In Isaiah 38, God promises Hezekiah 15 years more life and sends the sun backwards as a sign. (You can’t have a bigger miracle than that.) Yet, in the end, how did God heal Hezekiah? Through a lump of figs. (You can’t get more down-to-earth than that.)

In John 9, Jesus could have just spoken a word to heal the blind man, but he chose to put mud on his eyes and send him to wash in the Pool of Siloam. (Maybe because of the minerals in the soil and the water.)

If it is true that God sometimes chooses natural means over supernatural means when the natural options are available, then we need to take a fresh look at the health options available to us in the West in 2022 that were not available to the people Jesus healed in the Bible.

Differences between the people who were healed in the Bible and ourselves.

• Food
  • The people Jesus healed were often poor. They had limited choices when it came to food. They were undernourished and had no means to rectify that situation. Their only hope was the supernatural healing power of Jesus. Most of us, however, can make choices about what to eat. We can go to the supermarket and choose fresh fruit or biscuits (cookies). We can also choose to take supplements - vitamins and minerals. We have natural means of supporting our health that people in the Bible didn’t have. Shouldn’t we be using them?
• Information
  • These days we can’t claim that we don’t have access to information about natural healing. There’s plenty of information out there if we look for it.
• Where we put our faith
  • The people in the Bible that Jesus healed only had one option – to put their faith in Jesus. We have other options as to where we put our faith and we might be tempted to put more faith in the medical industry than in God.
• Influences
  • The people in the New Testament were taught the Old Testament. They knew what the Bible said about healing. They listened to the Word of God and were not bombarded by modern mainstream media (which is largely funded by Big Pharma) telling them how to manage their health. They only had God’s way.

So, of course, if you are sick, pray that Jesus will heal you. He is the only true Healer.

But, please also pray that God will give you the wisdom to use the resources for good health that he has placed at your disposal.

He’s turned my mourning into dancing (and it only took 10 years).

 

“Lord, please get me up the hill.”

This used to be my prayer every evening on my way home after taking the bus from the Korean university where I taught English. I couldn’t sit down on the bus because if I did, I couldn’t stand up again. I had to stand and cling on for dear life. I knew every swerve and turn the bus would take and prepared myself for it. I prayed the Lord would get me off safely because I knew if somebody knocked me at the wrong moment, I would fall and break something. I had to position myself at the door so I could step down on my bad left leg (it would be another 3 years before I could go down a step on my right leg and 4 years before I could go up a step on my left).

Then I reached the bottom of the short hill between apartment blocks. I carefully positioned myself in the centre of the path, so I could walk straight up (it was impossible to walk diagonally on a hill) and reminded myself this was the last hurdle before I reached my home. As I walked up, I often passed a group of pensioners sitting talking on a bench. They were 20 or 30 years older than me (I was 53), but they would stop their conversation and watch me with compassion in their eyes as I struggled to get one foot in front of the other. With each step I prayed, “Lord, please don’t let me fall. Please don’t let me fall.”

 

I’ve just given you a snapshot of my life ten years ago (2012). I was bent over to the left and in pain 24/7. It was taking me five minutes to get out of a chair. Life was hell, and I wanted to die.

Everything began to change one night when I was tossing and turning in bed, the constant pain precluding any possibility of sleep. I cried out to God, “Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.” He replied, but not in the way I expected. He said, “It’s not a question of mercy. It’s a question of spiritual warfare.”

To cut a long story short, I realised that after 35 years of being a Christian, I didn’t know what the Bible said about spiritual warfare and healing. I set about correcting that. I read my Bible with new eyes and I prayed.

A few weeks later, I heard about a nutritional company that might be able to help. I had tried supplements before without success, but I felt I should give this a try. Within 5 days of starting Youngevity, I was seeing results. Six months later, I was out of the weeds. I was standing straight,  was substantially out of pain, and moving much better (although still not well.)

I stayed in Korea for another 8 years. During that time, my mobility improved further through unconventional treatment from my Korean dentist (Dr SooChang Jung).

In 2020, I returned to the UK. By then I was pain-free and I could walk at a moderate speed using a cane. I was very grateful to be out of pain and to be able to function independently. But I still found myself grumbling. I had so much to be thankful for. I had experienced a miraculous recovery. Yet I was painfully aware that the rest of my life was going to be very limited unless the Lord brought even more healing into my life. But how was he going to do that? Sure, he can heal in an instant. But the path he has chosen for my healing has always been via natural modalities. I thought that if anything was going to help me further, it would have to be something totally off-the-wall that I had never even heard of.

Then on the 1^st February, 2022, I received a message on Facebook asking if I had ever tried stem cell therapy.

And the second miraculous recovery of my life was just around the corner.  

When I first read the message, I was cautious. Didn’t stem cell therapy involve expensive injections and have serious ethnical problems? But, no, I was told all I had to do was to wear a small patch that looked like a band-aid. The patch would use light frequencies to activate my own stem cells.

Well, that certainly matched my definition of off-the-wall. I was ready to give it a try.

On the first day I wore the patch, my body felt lighter and looser. By day 3, I could run for the first time in 12 years. Within 2 weeks I was working out for the first time in my life.

I’ve now been on the patches about two and a half months. And I can dance (within limits, but I’m getting better all the time). I'm looking forward to seeing what further improvements will come in the next few months. 

For most people, the idea of God turning mourning into dancing is a nice metaphor. For me it’s literally true.

 

Psalm 30:11-12

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

 

Biblical Health with Jordan Rubin

The stem cell activation patches have changed my life. I can work out for the first time ever.

I had fantastic, immediate results. I’m not the only one to experience this by far. But I think one reason results started to come so quickly and dramatically was because of everything I’ve done for my health over the years.

So, I’m going to share some of the previous steps I’ve taken for my health.
