I tried an experiment on the Everline train to work this morning.
When I started Youngevity 4 years ago, standing up on a train (or bus) was a nightmare. My leg muscles had lost the ability to adjust my weight and keep me upright. The only way to stay upright was to cling on for dear life with my weak arms. It was painful, and if I looked out the window, I felt like I was going to fall onto the track.
For some time now, I've been able to stand comfortably on the train just holding onto the rail with one hand. This morning I decided to really test my legs muscles. I let go of the rail (though kept my hand close in case) while the train pulled out of the station, picked up speed, went round a bend, slowed, pulled into the next station, and jerked to a stop.
MY LEGS KEPT ME UPRIGHT WITHOUT HOLDING ON.
Another milestone
